A personalised romance novel puts two people at the centre of a proper romantic story. Their names and selected details become part of the narrative, so the finished book is intended to feel closer to home than an off-the-shelf novel.
That is the idea behind Spice My Story. Our first planned paperback, Ranch Heat, is still being completed and reviewed. Ordering is closed while we check the manuscript, cover, print proof and fulfilment journey, so the examples on this site are design concepts rather than finished customer books.
How is it different from a personalised gift book?
Many personalised books are illustrated keepsakes, photo books or fill-in journals. Those can make lovely gifts, but they work differently from a novel.
A personalised romance novel is designed as a sustained story, with characters, dialogue, tension and a complete romantic arc. Personal details should support that story rather than feel like names dropped into blank spaces.
What will be personalised?
We are developing a guided set of choices for the two leads. The planned options include names and pronouns, the story tone, a meaningful shared detail and an optional dedication for the opening pages.
We will confirm the final choices before ordering opens. We would rather show fewer options that work well throughout the book than promise details we have not fully tested.
How will the book be created?
Spice My Story uses a purpose-built, AI-assisted writing and production system. The technology helps adapt an authored story framework around the selected details; it is not treated as a substitute for review.
Our intended workflow includes automated checks and a manual quality review before a book moves towards print. We are still testing that complete journey for Ranch Heat, which is why the site does not yet accept personalisation details or payment.
Who might enjoy one?
This kind of book is most likely to suit someone who enjoys romance fiction and would find it fun to recognise themselves and their partner in the story. It may be a thoughtful anniversary, engagement or just-because gift once the first edition is approved.
It will not suit everyone. Someone who does not enjoy fiction, or who would rather keep their name away from a romance cover, may prefer a different kind of keepsake. The personal element should feel delightful, never awkward.
