What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit and improve your experience.
Cookies We Use
Necessary cookies: Required for security and site functions you request, including saved privacy choices and, when available, cart, checkout and account sessions. If the theme fallback control is used, sms_cookie_preferences stores the optional categories you selected for up to 12 months. The personalisation wizard may also keep progress temporarily in browser session storage for the current tab; use its visible Clear saved progress control before sharing a device.
Analytics: Google Analytics through Site Kit stays blocked until you explicitly allow analytics. If allowed, Google may set cookies beginning _ga. We limit our own funnel events to story ID, format and step number; names, pronouns, free-text personalisation, delivery details and email addresses must not be sent as analytics metadata.
Referral attribution: WooCommerce Sourcebuster and SliceWP referral tracking stay blocked until you explicitly allow referral attribution. If allowed after following a referral link, cookies beginning sbjs_ or slicewp_ may record the source and affiliate identifier. They must not contain card details or book-personalisation details.
Affiliate Tracking
SliceWP manages affiliate registration, affiliate accounts and referral links, while WooCommerce can record visit-source attribution. Referral cookies are optional and are used only after you choose referral attribution, so approved commissions can be reviewed and paid correctly. Source information can be session-level; the current affiliate referral window is up to 30 days. Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, chargeback, or self-referral orders do not qualify for commission.
Spice Rating Device Storage
Spice Rating uses browser storage scoped to the app's own origin to keep progress, preferences, saved practice lines, access state and private Flirt Duet seat keys on your device. Unlike a cookie, that browser storage is not automatically sent with every request and remains until an in-app control or your browser's site-data controls remove it. If you choose to sign in to a member account, the app sets an essential HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax account-session cookie for up to 30 days. It is sent to the app origin, marked Secure on HTTPS and cleared when you sign out.
Managing Cookies
Optional categories are denied by default. The first notice gives equal controls to accept optional cookies, reject them, or manage each category. You can reopen the same choices at any time with the persistent Cookie preferences control. Withdrawing a category blocks its scripts on the next page load and removes known analytics or referral identifiers accessible to the site. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Necessary cookies cannot be disabled through this control because doing so can prevent security, account, cart or checkout functions you request. Rejecting analytics or referral attribution does not stop access to the website.
